The story of Julian Kałuża and his determination to establish the company of the future began much earlier. From courage and idea to stability and prestige. This is the story of a man who has achieved success through hard work and determination and passed it on to his son to develop the factory on an international scale.
The first facility
The first facility was established on the site of the former State Agricultural Farm. At the time, no one imagined that one of the largest factories in Poland and one of the most modern plastic processing plants could be built on the wasteland.

1983
The beginning
Julian Kałuża, 39, establishes a one-man manufacturing company called PLASTROL. The company initially produced paper clips and pots.
1987
The first big step
Plastrol signs contract with AMICA WRONKI for manufacturing and delivery of components for stoves
1993
Young blood
Julian Kałuża’s son Robert officially joins the company. He stated that as the son of the company’s founder and owner, the fact that he joined the company was the natural course of events. He gained an excellent foundation for business leadership by graduating with a degree in chemistry.
1996
Investments
Expanding business by introducing new products to the dynamically growing market. Investing in machinery, human resources and creating new jobs.
1998
Own fleet
The development of the company and cooperation with large businesses forces the creation of the company’s own fleet. Plastrol is able to independently deliver products to customers
2002
Dynamic development
Dynamic development, investment in new technologies and machinery, expansion of cooperation with Amica Wronki. Signing a contract to manufacture components for washing machines, refrigerators and freezers.
2005
New building
A new, designed for the future building is a sign of the company’s growth. Management, development, administration and customer service departments are now based here.
2008
Expansion of storage facilities
Demand for storage area increases, construction of additional storage facilities begins, which increases capacity and ensures prompt order fulfilment.
2011
Big leap
Establishing business relationship with SAMSUNG on production of components for washing machines, refrigerators. Launching an increasing number of complex and highly demanding projects.
2016
Own Brand
Decision to launch new premium brand KEL (Kałuża Electric) is made
2017
Establishing an export department
Plastrol enters the European markets. Establishing an export department
2020
Start of sales using B2B marketing channel
Plastrol in the era of pandemics meets the customers’ expectations by creating a B2B platform
